Josh Hamilton homered and had 2 RBI as the Reno Aces won in dramatic fashion
over the Washington Booze Hounds by a score of 5 to 4 at Camden Yards.
Reno erupted with the game winning runs in the bottom of the 9th inning
scoring 2 runs on 3 hits. After an out was recorded, Nick Swisher keyed the
rally when he delivered a single scoring the final run of the inning. Reno
finished with 7 hits in the victory.
Greg Holland(2-0) allowed no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Mariano Rivera(0-2) was the losing pitcher in relief. 'Wow, that
was fun!', Holland said following the game. 'Once in a while you play a game
that reminds you just why you got into this business to begin with!'
