Oregon Beavers Preview

The TBA is great!

Oregon Beaver looks like this,

A solid pitching staff for a change:

Mark Buehrle and Colby Lewis will be the aces of this staff   I am counting on Jason Hammel, Philip Humber, and Josh Tomlin will add bulk of the innings for the season.  The 6^th starter on the staff will see allot of action for the year is Freddy Garcia and Jeff Nieman will add some valued innings.

The Rolaids crew is better with closers Heath Bell and Javy Guerra will be the head liners.  Adding many that can do in relief getting out the best getting out the rhb is Sergio Romo and others will add to exciting yr in relief. Todd Coffey, Edgmer Escalona, Chris Leroux, Clay Mortensen, Takashi Saito, Michael Stutes, Clay Hensley and Esmerling Vasquez will handle the chore during the yr.

At first base is Derek Lee (an original beaver) and Michael Morris.  Waiting in the minors is Paul Goldschmidt and Jordan Pacheco for their turn to play for the Beavers.  Both may see some action in the TBA 2012 season.

At second base is Ryan Theriot (another original beaver) and Orland Hudson. Great defense and good on base average is a key for this position.

Playing shortstop is Jimmy Rollins and Justin Sellers.  Both will see action during the year and it is good to have Rollins for his defense.

Playing third base is Placido Polanco and Daniel Descalso.  Both will add another platoon position play for the season.  Polanco’s defense is key for the late innings success.  Descalso bat will add some excitement for the Beavers this season.

In leftfield is Juan Pierre and Chris Denorfia (who was one of original beaver) will see the most time in this position.  Also, seeing action here is Michael Morse when not playing first base.

In centerfield is Marlon Byrd and newly draftee Endy Chavez will share the position in a platoon situation.  Late inning defense is Andres Torres.  This maybe the weakest link in the lineup but don’t count on them to have an out every time at bat.

Playing right field is Carlos Beltran (another original beaver) with Jose Constanza in sent to the minors waiting his chance to play for the TBA. 

At catcher Lou Marson and Bryan Pena will see most of the action at the backstop position for 2012.  Henry Blanco, Tony Cruz and Alfonzo Eliezer is waiting for a chance to play this position for the Beavers.

It looks like this team will contend and may win the Championship of the TBA with a little luck.
