Bums Looking To Reload

Rebuild or Reload? That's not a tough question for the Vero Beach Bums! "It's always more fun to reload than to rebuild", quipped David Gandy, owner of the Bums. "We recently traded for veteran Vladimir Guerrero who will add some beef to our lineup. Vladdy will take turns with Manny at DH and will also play some left field for us".

The Bums' lineup could look something like this:

2. Brandon Phillips - 2b
3. Nelson Cruz - RF
4. Aubrey Huff - 1b
5. Vladimir Guerrero / Manny Ramirez - DH
6. Brian McCann - C
7. Michael Young - 3b
8. Yunel Escobar - SS
9. B.J. Upton - LF

Ramon Hernandez will backup McCann  and play some 1st base as well.

In the pitching department, the Bums have 2 solid starters and 3 others that are capable of getting the job done.

Top relievers are Francisco Rodriguez and Francisco Cordero.
