Alamos, Bowlers Clinch Playoff Spots; Looking for Division Titles Next
Both the San Antonio Alamos and Bowling Green Bowlers have secured their spot in the 2010 postseason. It will be the first ever playoff appearance for both teams.
The Alamos and Bowlers are also both looking for first in the league, both with a .589 winning percentage. However, the Alamos have played seven more games and reside 0.5 games up on the Bowlers. The Alamos are closest to nailing down their division as their magic number is down to four.
Napa is currently second place in the Molitor division and bearing a huge collapse or big run by the team are looking at the first wild card spot. They have yet to play a game this block but have a magic number of 8 to make the playoffs. They still hold a 6 game lead of Vero Beach for the first wild card spot.
Vero Beach is the team everyone is focusing on right now. While they have yet to play a game this month they hold a 3.5 game lead over the Marines for that last wild card spot. The Marines have 2 more wins than the Bums but have played 11 more games. The two teams play a crucial four game series in Colorado before three more in Florida so there's still plenty of action to look forward to between the two teams.
