Block 2 EML News & Notes

  • Bowling Green and Albany have gotten off to wonderful starts so far, the Bowlers lead the division by 6.5 games while Albany leads the Baines division by an even 7. 
  • No team in the Baines division is under .500 while 3 teams (2 unowned) in the Molitor division are below that mark. 
  • Ryan Ludwick (BOW) has gotten off to an amazing start. He is currently second in all three Triple Crown categories with a line of .366/15/38. Only Jack Cust (LOV) has more HR's or RBI's (20/41) while the Bombers' Mark DeRosa leads the league with a .384 batting average. 
  • 44-year old Randy Johnson can still deal, he currently leads the TBA with a sparkling 1.52 ERA. 
  • CC Sabathia is making a Cy-Young bid already. He has completed half of his 10 starts, coming away with 6 wins, a 2.86 ERA, and a league-leading 80 punch-outs.
