The San Antonio Alamos edged the Colorado Spring Marines in 10 innings at
Yankee Stadium by the score of 5 to 4.
The score was knotted at 4 after nine innings. San Antonio won the hard
fought contest in the 10th inning. Chris Iannetta slapped a base-hit. After
an out was recorded, Byrd got a good lead and stole second. Jonathan Broxton
then bounced one in the dirt for a wild pitch. James Loney followed, but he
was set down on strikes. Brandon Jones stepped into the box and doubled.
San Antonio took care of Colorado Spring with no trouble in the bottom of the
10th.
Mike Lincoln(2-3) allowed no runs in 1 inning, and picked up the victory. Jon
Rauch earned his 6th save. Broxton(0-3) was charged with the loss in relief.
